Python Job: Principal Software Engineer

Principal Software Engineer *Remote Germany* to €110,000

Principal Software Engineer / Developer (Python Django Cloud microservices). Would you like to progress your career at a global technology company where you can take ownership and make an impact?

As a Principal Software Engineer you'll take a lead role in developing the backend systems for the core product, a cutting edge valuation and forecasting system for the real estate market; you'll be working with Python and Django within a microservices environment. As a senior member of the team you'll lead projects, promote engineering best practice and help to provide mentoring to more junior team members.

You can work from home / fully remotely from anywhere in Europe (there is an office in Berlin if you prefer to meet with colleagues in the office you can work there part of the week).

Requirements:

• You have advanced Python development skills including Django
• You have a focus on backend systems, a good understanding of microservices and Cloud based systems - they use GCP (Google Cloud Platform) but you could have AWS or Azure
• You have experience of running projects
• You have a strong knowledge of software development best practice
• You're collaborative and have good English language communication skills
